The Crowbar Bandit responsible for four robberies in one week has been identified

A 25-year-old man has been arrested over the border, in relation to a string of armed robberies on the Gold Coast.

Police believe armed hold-ups at stores in Palm Beach, Tallai, Burleigh Heads and Tugun, between September 13 and 18, are all related, with three men wanted for questioning.

In each case, a man threatened workers with a tire-iron before taking off with cash.

A Terranora man was arrested in New South Wales yesterday and is currently in custody on bail breach offences.

It was expected he would be extradited to Queensland at a later date to face further charges.

Police were still looking for another two men, believed to have been involved in the crimes.

They might be travelling in a 2012 Toyota Camry with NSW registration CJ56YC.
