Latrobe City Council has provided an update on the progress of the 4.5 million dollar pathway between Morwell and Traralgon.
The shared path project, which commenced 12 months ago, will allow people to ride bikes, walk or jog between the two towns.
Initially due to be finished in June, only 3 of the 10 kilometres have been completed so far.
Mayor Darrell White says a project of this scale is never without its issues, and the Council is still waiting for the final stage of the pathway to be awarded a tender.
Final completion is now expected in April next year.
