Most of the region received some much welcome rain overnight, and it looks like we could be in for some more wet days ahead.
The BOM forecast indicates that we can expect showers and rain in some areas today but there are no weather warnings for the region.
Here’s how it looks for the weekend:
Forecast for the rest of Friday
Cloudy. Very high (90%) chance of showers and rain areas, becoming less likely this evening. The chance of a thunderstorm. Winds northwest to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h tending northwest to southwesterly in the early afternoon then becoming light in the late afternoon. Daytime maximum temperatures 20 to 25.
Saturday 6 October
Cloudy. High (70%) chance of showers and rain areas in the east, medium (40%) chance elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm in the morning and afternoon. Winds north to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light before dawn. Overnight temperatures falling to around 14 with daytime temperatures reaching 21 to 27.
Sunday 7 October
Partly cloudy. Medium (50%) chance of showers in the east, slight (20%) chance elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm in the far east in the afternoon and evening. Light winds becoming northeast to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h during the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 14 with daytime temperatures reaching 23 to 29.
