The Dalby Amateur Picnic Race Committee (DAPRC) is busily working to create an exciting and unique event for this year’s Dalby Picnic Race Day on Saturday 29 April.
With an anticipated 3,500 strong crowd for the 105th running of the event, Picnic Race meetings are a proud tradition in rural Australia.
The day will feature a seven-race program with more than $70,000 in prize money and bonuses on offer.
The Dalby Shopping World Fashions on the Field will once again be a highlight of the event, with prizes and cash totalling $7,500 up for grabs. The five categories include Classic Lady, Contemporary Fashion, Best Dressed Couple, Best Headwear and Best Dressed Gentleman.
Marquee packages will also be a feature on race day, all-inclusive packages are available in the Oakey Beef Finishing Post Marquee and the Home Straight Lounge.
While the all-inclusive party place for the younger race going crowd is definitely going to be the Windsor Treehouse.
Tickets are limited for these packages and race-goers are urged to get their tickets as soon as possible, to avoid missing out.
For race-goers looking for a casual relaxed atmosphere, the Black Toyota Marquee is the perfect venue for large groups that want flexibility and a fabulous family friendly precinct.
The Race day party will continue after the last race with live music by Andrew Kucks to keep the crowd entertained.
Complimentary buses will be running from the race course back into town after the last race.
