The Coopers Gap Wind Farm is a spectacular project with the size of everything bigger than enormous, and getting everything from A-B is a massive undertaking which will cause interruptions.
Major sections of the highway, including the Toowoomba Range, will be forced to close to transport the ginormous wind turbine blades for the Coopers Gap Wind Farm.
A trial delivery was conducted last week, we will now see overnight transportation of the blades to continue through to early next year.
At times major sections of highways, including the Toowoomba Range, will be closed to align with the projects commitment to safety. Delays can be expected and we are asked to patient at these times.
The windfarm is located between Dalby and Kingaroy and will be the largest in Australia once construction is completed next year.
