Stolen Car Crashed in Coffs Overnight

Police on the hunt for the drivers

Police are on the hunt for three males after a stolen car crashed in Coffs Harbour last night.

Just after 10pm last night, police were notified by members of the public of a car being driven erratically on the Pacific Highway.

When officers tried to stop the Holden Commodore on Arthur Street, the driver allegedly turned and drove down the wrong side of the highway toward Mastracolas Road.

The vehicle continued for a short distance before crashing into the kerb on Orlando Street.

Three males then fled the vehicle heading for the intersection of the Pacific Highway at Bray Street and Orlando Street.

After an extensive search of the area, with the assistance of the Dog Unit, they were unable to locate the men.

Two of the men are described as being of Caucasian appearance and one man is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance.

All three men were wearing dark tracksuit pants and jackets and one of the men was wearing a black hat.

The Holden vehicle was reported stolen from Victoria last week.
