$300,000 Reward in Matthew Mitchell Case

The 30-year-old died in 2013

The father of a Coffs Harbour man who was killed by a car in 2013, will address the media today following the announcement of a $300,000 reward for information on his death.

It is the fifth anniversary of Matthew Mitchell, who died from a head injury a month after he was found on Graham Street in Sandy Beach.

An inquest into his death in 2017 ruled it was a moving vehicle that was likely to have come into contact with the 30-year-old, but there was not sufficient evidence to identify a suspect.

Peter Mitchell and police will front the media at 10am outside Coffs Harbour Police Station.
