A new campaign will be launched in Orange today, to help improve safety at licensed venues across town.
Minister for Racing Paul Toole, will join representatives from the Orange City Council, and the Orange Liquor Accord, as well as Member for Calare Andrew Gee, and Superintendent Peter McKenna, to launch the initiative this morning.
The new campaign is helping to make sure no one ever feels unsafe or uncomfortable on a night out or on a date. All we need to do is "Ask for Angela," at the bar, to get help from wait staff.
The internationally recognised campaign is being set up in Orange, following successful implementation in the Riverina, in May last year.
