Wyong: Man Assaulted while Sleeping in Club Carpark

Tuggerah Lakes Police are investigating after a man was found with head injuries in a carpark at Wyong early this morning.

Emergency services were called to a club on Lake Haven Drive shortly before 7.30am following reports a man had been located near his vehicle with a head injury.

The 60 year old was treated at the scene before being taken to Wyong Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Police have established a crime scene and are appealing for information after initial inquiries suggest the victim was asleep in his car when he was approached and attacked.
