The Man Hit Outside A Gosford Shopping Centre Last Week Has Died In Hospital

Sad news out of Sydney with the man who was allegedly bashed in the GOSFORD's CBD last Tuesday night passing away in Royal North Shore Hospital.

It's alleged the 57-year-old and a 20-year-old male had a verbal exchange inside a shopping centre on Erina Street...before it became a physical altercation outside a short time later.

Police say the older man collapsed and hit his head on the footpath, suffering critical injuries.

He underwent brain surgery, but succumbed to his injuries late last week.

Charges against ZAINE ROBINSON, who remains behind bars ahead of his next court appearance on November 23, are now under review...pending the results of a post mortem.
