Police renew call for info on assault
Man to re-face Gosford court tomorrow.
Police are appealing for information after a serious assault in Gosford last week.
Police were called to Gosford Hospital about 12am on Thursday 6 April 2017, after a 42-year-old man presented at the emergency department with serious head injuries.
The man was later flown to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
Detectives from Brisbane Water Local Area Command have commenced an investigation into the incident.
Following inquiries, about 12pm on Thursday 6 April 2017, police arrested a 41-year-old man at a home in Mangrove Mountain.
He was taken to Gosford Police Station and charged with a number of offences including conceal serious offence and firearm offences.
He appeared at Gosford Local Court on Friday 7 April 2017, where he was bail refused to re-appear tomorrow.
Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident continue, with police seeking information on those responsible for the assault.
