With a 2017 Queensland election looming, Pauline Hanson says she's got "big plans".
The One Nation leader has vowed to push ahead with a plan to ban the burqa from all government buildings in the state.
In an interview with Sky News, Hanson said a One Nation Queensland government will immediately investigate the ban, which would include schools.
"We need vision and we're lacking it, they're too scared to do anything," Hanson said about the Turnbull government.
"We have some big plans and ideas, and you know what i'm going to do? Ban the burqa in government buildings, banks and schools."
"We're going to lead the way in Queensland."
Support for One Nation is growing according to recent polls and the party will have more than 30 candidates running in the next state election.
