The first crash involved three vehicles just after 1.30pm and saw emergency services have to extract a man in his 20s from the driver’s seat of a van after he became trapped in his lower body.
The man was airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with pelvic and groin injuries and his condition has since stabilised while another man in his 50s was taken to Bendigo Hospital with minor injuries.
