Anzac Day is a very important day for all Australians, so some businesses will of course be closing for the day or altering their hours.
Here is some information we hope may come in handy…
Shopping Centres & Supermarkets
We recommend checking with your closest shopping centre, but Rundle Mall and Harbour Town are both open from 12pm - 5pm.
Woolworths and Aldi stores will be closed all day, however, Coles will be open from 1pm.
BWS & Dan Murphy’s - Open from 1pm
Most Liquorland, First Choice, Vintage Cellars and Liquor Market stores - 12pm
Going to the movies in the afternoon can be a great public holiday activity. Expect crowds as the new Avengers film starts showing.
Event Cinemas - Open as normal
Hoyts - Open as normal
Bars and Licensed Venues
Fancy a game of two-up or want to enjoy a beer on Anzac Day?
Although most cafes and restaurants wouldn’t be open until at least midday, pub doors will be open as per usual.
Heading to the Dawn Service?
The service will commence at South Australian National War Memorial on the corner of Kintore Avenue and North Terrace at 6.00am, with the march beginning at 9.30am from North Terrace.
