A truck carrying thousands of litres of alcohol has been destroyed after colliding head-on with another truck in the State's southeast.
The Melbourne-bound semi, carrying 13,000 litres of Jim Beam bourbon and Canadian Club whisky collided with another around 2:40am on the Dukes Highway, 5kms west of Coonalpyn.
The truck carrying the booze flipped and caught fire shortly after impact.
Both drivers escaped with only minor injuries, with a Queensland man flown to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment.
The highway was closed for several hours while the debris and alcohol was cleaned away from the road.
