South Aussies are set for a taste of summer this week with temperatures soaring above 30°C tomorrow and Thursday.
Today, the mercury will reach 28°C in the city and get up to 38°C further out.
Tomorrow it's expected to hit 33°C and Thursday is forecast for 36°C.
That would make it the hottest day in over 6 months.
But with the heat comes fire danger, the last of the districts will be added to the fire ban list on Thursday including the Murraylands, Yorke Peninsula and the Mid North.
The Bureau says today's conditions are very high risk in the Mount Lofty Ranges.
By Friday we can expect thunderstorms after a cool change comes through overnight.
