A Number Of Bugs Found At SA Hospitals

Infestation Forces Elective Surgeries To Be Postponed

Pest controllers have been called into 2 of SA's hospitals because of a bug infestation.

Cleaners doing their general rounds have found earwigs at Whyalla Hospital and Port Augusta Hospital.

It's believed the bugs were brought in to the buildings, possibly in packaging.

They aren't considered dangerous or a direct health problem.

Elective surgeries have been postponed.

The incident's been described as really really unusual.
