If there is one thing Adelaide has over all the other capital cities, it’s our ability to do Christmas right.
Yes, we know how to put on a Christmas event, from the Pageant to the lighting of the tree this Friday.
This year, City of Adelaide has promised a new magical experience where folks can hop aboard a miniature ride-on train which will take you around the dazzling tree for a 360 degree experience!
“As always, Adelaide’s iconic Giant Christmas Tree will be shining bright in the Square from 1 December, but this year you can check it out in a fun new way. Hop aboard the miniature ride-on train which will circle the tree, giving your little ones a 360-degree view of all its bright lights and colourful decorations. No tickets required!” City of Adelaide wrote on Facebook
As always, food trucks will be on site along with a heap of free entertainment and kids activities.
Where: Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga
When: Friday 1 December, 6pm-9pm (lighting of the tree will take place at 8:15pm)
