Damaging winds have caused power outages in South Australia.

More than 30 thousand properties are currently without power in Adelaide, and the ABC reports some traffic lights are also out.

Adelaide's northeast and south are most impacted, with suburbs including Parafield, Salisbury, Enfield, Hawthorn and Torrens Park without electricity.

A severe weather warning was issued on Monday. Winds are predicted to reach 100km/hr and rain is forecast.
