The Australian War Memorial is launching a never-before seen experience using virtual reality technology to transport audiences to the Battlefields of Hamel, France in 1918. Ned & Josh will be attending the Virtual Reality Tour after hours on Thursday 12th July and will be inviting 8 friends of the show to join them.
The afterhours experience will include dinner and drinks for all our Hit104.7 guests, as well as a privately hosted event where an Expert can answer any questions Ned, Josh and their guests may have. The latest virtual reality exhibition will transport our winners to the Battlefields of Hamel, where they will feel fully immersed in the French countryside on the battlefield at Le Hamel via digital experience, viewed via a virtual reality headset and headphones. Tanks, aircraft and the battlefield will be presented in a combination of 3D and 360-degree video from perspective of an airman, infantry, or tank crewman.
To win a spot for you and a friend to the Australian War Memorial Virtual Reality tour of the Battlefields of Hamel, Ned & Josh will be asking the History-Buffs and those who have always dreamed of visiting the battle fields of WWI France but unfortunately have never been able to, to join them, as they “virtually” take them to France with them.
