North Queensland country music star Keely Johnson has been battling childhood cancer, and now she faces another hurdle.
The former Holy Spirit School student has shared on Facebook that she is facing 2 brain surgeries next week, and needs support from our community.
Keely told her followers on a Facebook Live video that her family would be facing a bill in the tens of thousands of dollars.
Through a GoFundMe page the Johnson’s have already received over $15,000 worth of donations.
Keely has never let cancer get in the way of achieving big things, with the 19-year-old recording a charity song with Australian singer Lee Kernaghan in 2014.
The brain surgery fundraising goal has been set at $50,000 and we’re more than positive that it will be reached, if you’d like to support Keely in her fight, donate now.
