There's A Club In Townsville That Lets You Live Out Your Mermaid Dreams

You want thing-a-me-bobs? We've got 20! And we want to join this club! 

Many of us believe that we are secretly mermaids trapped in human bodies, and there's a club in Townsville that helps us get closer to that dream. 

Townsville Shell Club exists, and it celebrates everything part of Ariel's world. 

The club hosts an annual show, which drew a great crowd over the weekend. 

At the show over 100 displays left onlookers in awe, as they browsed the collections belonging to shell enthusiasts.  

Some of the collections (which Ariel would go crazy over) were locally sourced on Maggie Island, while others came from all corners of the globe. 

Next year will mark the 50th anniversary of the annual shell show.
