Just weeks ago locals were flocking to the beautiful sunflower paddock on Wallaman Falls Road for a snap of the picture perfect scenery.
This weekend the land where the bright blooms were growing west of Ingham, became inundated with flood water.
Cane Farmer Michael Waring had strategically planted the beauties to improve the health of the soil for his sugar cane crops.
The popular paddock was almost unrecognisable over the weekend as flood waters took over.
If you look closely you can see where the sunflowers used to be...
And this was the farm during the Ingham floods...
We wish Michael all the best with his farming this year!
