BORDER RELAY FOR LIFE

Relay For Life is a fun and moving overnight experience that raises vital funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention, information and support services. Relay is a chance for the Border community to recognise and celebrate local cancer survivors, patients and their carers, to honour and remember loved ones lost to cancer and to raise money to help save more lives. YACKANDANDAH’S HUGE TOWN GARAGE SALE
Saturday October 21
Annual event which last year saw around fifty garage sale sites around Yackandadah. The Yackandandah Visitor Information Centre will be open from 7.45am. Bargain hunters may collect a Town Garage Sale Map for a gold coin donation. The map will mark all the garage sale sites, and list items for sale. Everyone is welcome. It's a great fun day of treasure hunting and enjoying Yackandandah’s attractions.

RUTHERGLEN AGRICULTURAL SHOW
Sunday 22nd October
Enjoy a fun day out for the family with Tug of War, Dog Jumps, Ferret Races, Pet Parade, Trailer Backing and Nail Driving competitions. Pavilion exhibits, machinery, old cars, motor bikes, animal nursery, clown, showgirl/boy competitions and lots more. New events this year include cattle handling and judging, lamb whisperer and guess the weight of the sheep.

UNITING ST DAVID’S RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING AWARENESS GOLF DAY

Uniting St David's is holding a golf day to coincide with Responsible Gambling Awareness Week 2017. The golf day is a 4 ball ambrose with a shot gun start at the Albury Golf Club with the day starting at 1030am.
