We don’t need to sugar coat it – this weekend is going to be sweeeeet!

Off the back of recent mega-successful events such as the Rainbow Festival and Island Night, NightQuarter are hosting yet another scrumptious, must-attend weekend experience.

Dessert Festival is hitting the GC’s favourite weekend night market this Saturday and, given they're offering a line-up of lip-smacking sweet treats to send you to sugar heaven, it naturally has the whole of the city talking.

There's nearly 4 and a half thousand people interested in the event on Facebook... and counting.

In addition to gravity-defying crazy shakes and mega-loaded ice-cream cookie sandwiches, sweet tooths can enjoy hot donut fries, unicorn fudge, funnel cakes, Nutella marshmallow toasties and melted Belgium chocolate coated strawberries – just to name a few!

To top it all off, indie-pop artist MANE will be like honey for the ears when she takes to the stage performing the same enchanting tunes that left this year’s Groovin the Moo crowd mesmerised.

Make sure you save room for some of NightQuarter’s delicious savoury food and drinks too but – who are we kidding? – this festival is all about the sugar rush! Pop along with your friends and family for the yummiest afternoon tea, or the naughtiest dinner, you’re likely ever to have had.

So pull out the stretchy pants and throw away the calorie counter, you won't want to miss out on this one. Trust us, if you do, you'll be jelly.

Dessert Festival is being held at NightQuarter from 4pm Saturday 10th November. Entry is $3 and can be purchased from the gate on the night. Kids 12 and under are free. For more information visit the NightQuarter website here  or follow the event page below:
