International Women's Day Events On The Gold Coast

International Women's Day is this Thursday March 8 to celebrate women achieving amazing things. If you're an empowered woman and want to join in on the celebrations, there's a range of inspiring and uplifting events around the Gold Coast to get involved in. Here's to strong women! 

Sassy International Women's Day Luncheon

Book your spot at Babalou for the Sassy Business Chicks International Women's Day Luncheon! There will be two guest speakers, Therese Kerr (Miranda Kerr's mother and entrepreneur) Chef Kate McAloon known as a personal chef for some of the world's biggest stars including Gwyneth Paltrow, Steven Spielberg, Courtney Cox, The Rock and many more.

Included in the price of the ticket is a purple International Women’s Day ribbon, with all proceeds going to UN Women, National Comittee Australia. You'll also receive a goodie bag, ticket to a lucky door prize and a tapas lunch. There's only 100 seats, so get in quick!

For just $30, you can secure your spot at Greenhouse Canteen's International Women's Day celebration, where you can eat your way through a 5-course vegan banquet. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to WELA: Women's Environmental Leadership Australia. Make sure you get in quick, RSVP's close tomorrow!

Students of Griffith University Gold Coast! Head to Uni Bar for a wonderful morning tea celebrating International Women's Day. There will be cupcakes, sandwiches, tea and coffee on offer.
