Lovers of fast food put your hands up! Those who love a good burrito give us an "OH YEAH!".

Great, well now that we have that out of the way, we're here to tell you about a place where you can devour your Mexican feast... with a conscience.

Zambrero is Mexican with meaning. Helping fight hunger with every burrito or bowl served up in store.

The Plate 4 Plate initiative has always been at the heart of the business model since it started in 2005.

Teaming up with international hunger relief agency Rise Against Hunger, they've helped give millions (23,442,411 to be exact) of disadvantaged communities across Africa, Asia and America meals to survive.

With every burrito or bowl purchased, a meal specifically designed with soy, vegetables and packed with nutrients and vitamins, is donated to those malnourished.

And not just overseas - but locally. Zambrero partnered with Foodbank to provide meals to Australians in need encouraging the community to 'eat to beat world hunger'.

To get involved (in more than just the eating side of things) their annual meal packing day is back for another year in 2018, where volunteers can help staff pack meals for a great cause. Registrations open next month here.

With its finger on the pulse for healthy, fast and fresh Mexican food, Zambreos is located all around the country with popular stores on the Gold Coast at Surfers Paradise, Robina, Southport, Ashmore, Nerang, Biggera Waters, Tugan, Coolangatta, Oxenford and Tweed City.
