The Burleigh Common is set to be a new fun hangout for locals after they opened today!
If you haven't felt a strong sense of community, you're bound to now, with The Burleigh Common wearing many hats - an art, homewares and fashion store, food truck zone, co-working space and part event domain.
Founders Christian and Sandra were working at markets when they saw passionate and dedicated creatives working really hard to make their entrepreneurial dreams come true. So, they decided to create a space where people can come together to incubate new ideas, connect with other people and create fun and inspiring projects.
Local creatives have the opportunity to have their wares exhibited in the space where it's up for sale during the week! Which means, the table you're eyeing off or the sofa you're sitting on could be yours - alongside many other trinkets in a setting of distressed and upcycled furniture and homewares!
Blackboard coffee will be available every morning from 7am for those who need a spring in their step and the food truck roster will be constantly changing, meaning new food to devour! Did we mention FREE wifi too?! Yup!
There will be fun community projects and workshops to take part in, so make sure you keep your eye on all things The Burleigh Common! Plus, if you're keen to display your work - whether that be homewares, fashion arts & crafts, jewellery and plants - enquire now! The space is also available for hire.
Being just a hop, skip & a jump from the beach, it's the perfect location to chill and soak up what the community around you has to offer!
Opening hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-2pm
