The Oasis Shopping Centre has undergone extensive renovations recently, and has come out the other side boasting a smoking hot new dining precinct. Our resident foodie @goldcoasteats shares the new foodie favourites that you need to check out.

Mario’s Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

Mario’s is one of the longest standing restaurants in the Broadbeach dining precinct and it is a local favorite to thousands of Gold Coasters. Mario’s reopened just two weeks ago, and after a hiatus for a couple of months, it looks like a completely new restaurant!

The modern fit-out is not the only update. There are plenty of new faces staffing the restaurant, an open kitchen where you can view the chefs whipping up your meals, and also a brand new menu featuring a few old favorites as well as some fancy new additions! The menu includes foccacia’s, pasta, risotto, seafood, meats, pizza and so much more…. Bellissimo!

Main Street Burger Bar

Main Street Burger Bar is known as one of the hottest eateries in Byron Bay, and just last week they opened their second restaurant right here on the Gold Coast! If you’ve had the pleasure of dining there before, you will understand why we are losing our sh*t over this new opening! Their vision is “flawless burgers, icy cold beer, real shakes and delicious soda all under the same roof.” Sounds good to us!

Grab some friends who love burgers & beers and head to Main Street Burger Bar asap!

Harajuku Gyoza

Gyoza fans rejoice! Harajuku Gyoza opened last week in Broadbeach and have heaps of gyoza on offer including Nutella gyoza, Salted Caramel gyoza and peanut butter & white chocolate gyoza *DROOL*. Harajuku Gyoza is Australia’s first Japanese craft brewery with seven craft beers on tap, hard to find Japanese whiskies and plenty of cocktails. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is unreal.

Hot tip: order the salmon sashimi bowl – it is absolutely delicious!

Beachside Pavillion

Alto Cucina & Bar is re-launching as ‘Beachside Pavilion’ and is set to become a weekend watering hole for locals and tourists alike. Think freshly shucked oysters, amazing food, a beachside feel and cocktails to die for. Beachside pavilion officially opens on May 29th, but a few lucky Gold Coasters received a sneak peak over the Blues on Broadbeach weekend and we heard nothing but good things.

Pencil a beachside long lunch in your diary right now – it’ll do you good!

The Loose Moose

The popular tap & grill house is well-known around the coast for their saucy chicken wings, burgers, loaded fries and their delicious cocktails. Did someone say espresso martini with coconut foam?! I’ll have four thanks!

The Loose Moose has recently undergone an expansion and have taken over the space in which ‘Hatch n Co’ previously resided in. The rustic interior of The Loose Moose now fills almost double the space of the original restaurant. This means less time waiting for a table and more time eating and drinking at ‘The Moose’!
