It's Remembrance Day this Sunday, commemorating 100 years. If you'd like to pay your respects and attend a service, there are a couple of services and events happening around Dubbo this weekend. Here's what you can find around Dubbo: 

Saturday, November 10 | 2pm | Western Plains Cultural Centre

Go check out the Upon a Broken World exhibition, which examines the impact of the First World War and shows that the entire modern age is a memorial to the Great War. 

Sunday, November 11

Dubbo - Victoria Park Cenotaph

From 10:30, the Dubbo Ceremony of the Commemoration of the Fallen will be held at the Victoria Park Cenotaph. 

Wellington - Cameron Park Cenotaph

A Remembrance Day service will be held at 10:20am at Cameron park Cenotaph. 

Eumungerie - Eumungerie Cenotaph

Go along to the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Eumungerie Cenotaph, commencing at 10:45am.  

Stuart Town - Stuart Town Memorial Gates
A Remembrance Day service will be held at Stuart Town Memorial Gates starting at 11.00am.
 
Gilgandra - Miller St Cenotaph
10am: Centenary of the Armistice Prayer Service at St Ambrose Anglican Church Gilgandra followed by a march to the Cenotaph.
10.50am: Commencement of RSL Sub-Branch Armistice Day Service at the Cenotaph Gilgandra.
3.30pm: The unveiling of The Returned Soldier sculpture by Brett Garling at the GK Rohr Warrumbungle Viewing Platform 3.30pm. This will be followed by refreshments.
