What's happening at our ski fields?

A cold snap to start off the week brought 20cm of fresh snow up top and 5cm in the village. The mountain crew have been working hard overnight to make sure the mountain is in tip-top shape. It’s looking good as we head into the weekend, with a bit of sunshine and patchy clouds with the possibility of snow showers heading into next week.

Lots of sharp caving down Supertrail this week. A slick run back to the resort with hard packed conditions on the lower slopes. The Cruiser area has been great for the beginners transitioning into the intermediate phase. The Kozzie Terrain Park has been busy this week, seeing lots of action on the 35 foot jump, rainbow tube and Oakley wall ride.

Here at Thredbo we have 14 lifts running. Over at Perisher, 46 lifts open.

What’s on in Thredbo:

The good vibes will be pumping into the weekend from Thursday night with Family Fun Nights, featuring the Kids Flare Run and Fireworks. Register for the Hike for POW with Chris Davenport – Friday morning, or attend the presentation Friday evening to learn more about Protect Our Winters and Thredbo’s environmental initiatives.
Get ready for a big weekend of parties and après too… it will be going off at the Keller on Friday night for another iconic Fireball Full Moon Party, and Saturday is one not to be missed – Red Bull Music are bringing back Client Liaison to Poolside with a bunch of other awesome artists.
