HIT104.7 SNOW REPORT - SEPTEMBER 7

Let it snow!

Article heading image for HIT104.7 SNOW REPORT - SEPTEMBER 7

It’s been a week of back-to back sunny days and spring conditions in Thredbo…

A series of low overnight temps and bluebird days have made for an awesome week of riding so far with firmly groomed conditions in the morning, softening up by lunchtime.

The higher slopes have been the picks this week, with low winds about the peaks, The Basin and Exhibition are looking on point. Lots of happy snaps taken at the top of Karels, ringing the bell. The advanced shredders have been treated to a mid-week groom down Little Beauty, and True Blue has received love from the Cats for the intermediates. Beginners looking to further their skills have been lapping the Cruiser area in the mornings – or heading straight down High Noon. For the jibbers, Antons Park has been a busy spot with the Thredbo Snow Series: Big Air event to kick-off the week, followed by a few overnight tweaks by the mountain crew. The Cruiser Progression Park has also had a few additions.

The weather is expected to clear over the weekend and heading into next week..

Here at Thredbo we have 14 lifts running. Over at Perisher, 45 lifts open.
