HIT104.7 SNOW REPORT - AUGUST 17

What's on at our ski fields?

Article heading image for HIT104.7 SNOW REPORT - AUGUST 17

Sunshine and blue skies in Thredbo, with more snow on the way…

After receiving 5cm yesterday and another light top up about the peaks overnight, more snow showers are in the forecast over the weekend – hopefully bringing 30-40cm by Monday.

A few windy days this week have blown lots of the fresh stuff about. The Bluff is the place to be for pow moments.

Firmly groomed conditions this morning softening under the sun throughout the day. Loads of carving down High Noon and Supertrail, the Cruiser area is the groomer’s pick.

A bit drifty on the higher runs. Packed off-piste with a few windblown stashes.

The jibbers have been busy this week with the newly added features at Antons Park, the 60 foot jump has seen lots of action. Friday Flat has been in fine form for the beginners working on their turns.

All 14 lifts open in Thredbo. Over at Perisher, 46 lifts open.

Get keen for a big weekend of freshies, shredding and good vibes…
