Santa’s little helpers are putting the finishing touches on a new Christmas festival that’s coming to Canberra!

Christmas in Glebe Park kicks off tomorrow, with loads of festive activities planned over three jam-packed weekends.

The park will be transformed into a forest of festive fun from December 8-23, with over 100 trees lit up for the whole family to enjoy.

The spectacular lighting display will be opened at night on Monday to Wednesday, with the park to come alive on weekends with music, roving entertainers, Santa photos, tree decorating, food and more!

The action kicks off at 5pm on Friday December 8, with plenty of more fun to be had on the Saturday and Sunday between 12pm and 10pm.

Local event company Damsel and Sprout have a huge program planned for the first weekend, with inflatable rides, a nerf arena, jumping castles, light displays, visits from Santa and Nomad the Magician, a live Christmas Tree forest, painted gingerbread cubby houses, roving carollers and delicious food.

Other highlights across the three weekends including a free screening of one of the best Christmas movies EVER Home Alone, a petting zoo, free donkey rides, goat yoga and some fantastic live music.

The Boogie Buddies will also perform four shows to get the kids and parents up and moving!

Entry is FREE and charity partner Red Nose will be there collecting donations.
