You would’ve undoubtedly seen them in the shops for weeks now – those round baked balls of deliciousness we call hot cross buns!

Never mind the fact that Easter is usually weeks or sometimes months away from their release – we’re not complaining!

There’s an abundance of them in Canberra at bakeries, café’s and supermarkets – with plenty of variety too.

Whether you like your traditional fruit hot cross buns, chocolate, vegan, organic or other creative flavour combos, there’s something out there in the capital to suit your tastes.

One of the THE places to get your hot cross bun fix must be Three Mills Bakery out at Majura Park.

They’re super popular though, so make sure you pre-order for Easter if you can!

You also can’t go wrong with the hot cross buns at Bakers Delight. Boy are they delicious!

They sell different varieties at their locations across Canberra – so there’s something for everyone.

Sometimes you just can’t go past the bakery at the local shops!

Patisserie 6 in Weetangera makes delightful hot cross buns – packed with lots of delicious fruit.

Brumby’s Bakery are also changing things up, offering new Sticky Date hot cross buns. Yum!
