With a zombie cyclone returning to North Queensland, Rockhampton Regional Council wants residents to prepare themselves for the rain as the storm gets ready to move inland.
Local Disaster Management Group Chair, Councillor Tony Williams said residents should also be aware of potential issues outside of their homes.
One of the best things residents can do is have a look at the drains on the kerbs and, if they notice a bit of debris or leaves in there, to remove it now before the rain comes.- Cr Tony Williams
Cr Williams encouraged locals to get online and check out the Emergency Dashboard on the Council's website which will be updated continuously throughout the storm.
