Rain Room

Because Melbourne is awesome, we’re usually the first city to get some of the most incredible artworks from around the world – and this one is no exception!

St Kilda will soon become the new home to Rain Room, an installation by the London-based Random International.

It’s exactly like it sounds, a whole lot of rain coming down from the ceiling… but thanks to the magic of motion sensors, you won’t get wet! A six-metre radium will keep you nice and dry whilst still immersed in the experience.

After stopping by incredible museums like MoMA in New York and the Barbican in London, it’ll pop-up for seven weeks at the corner of Acland and Jackson streets thanks to ACMI and Jackalope.

You won’t want to miss out on this, so book your tickets now to make sure you can get through the door. Go here!
