For a month you can furget about doing the shredding yourself, thanks to an Endeavour Foundation initiative.
The project is providing jobs for people with an intellectual disability to undergo document destruction to customers signing up in National Recycling Week (Nov 12-18).
Once shredded, the documents are baled and on-sold to another Toowoomba-based FibreCycle – which turns them into cat litter.
Those bills, receipts, invoices, or meeting notes sitting on your desk could soon be sitting in your cat's litter tray!
