You Can Buy A Virtual Poppy To Commemorate Remembrance Day This Year!
The 11th November at 11am. A time for us to pause and remember those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.
This year’s Remembrance Day will be slightly different with traditions being moved online due to COVID-19.
RSL NSW have launched Remember To Remember, encouraging us to all pause at 11am on November 11th wherever we are.
Their Poppy Appeal raises money for veterans and their families, with donations helping to provide specialist services like crisis accommodation and health and wellbeing programs. This year you can buy and plant a virtual poppy!
The 11am service will still take place at the Cenotaph in Martin Place with RSL NSW streaming ceremony live via their Facebook page.
RSL NSW are also encouraging communities to enjoy hosting a BBQ and raise money to remember. Find out more here!
