Woolies Have Knocked Back The $1 Per Litre Milk To Support Our Dairy Farmers!

The time of $1 per litre milk is grinding to a halt with Woolworths raising the price by 10 cents and the extra cash heading to our hard working dairy farmers!

Ben chats with Dorrigo Dairy Farmer Julie Moore about the price increase and how the price bump really affects dairy farmers.

According to Julie, a huge amount of money is poured into the production of milk which means the $1 per litre barely touches the sides for our dedicated dairy farmers. Julie hopes that dairy consumers will walk the walk and dip deeper into their wallets in support of the dairy industry. With help from locals and the 10 cent increase in price by Woolworths, farmers expect that this could lead to an increase in price from other retailers too! No pressure Coles...
