Woman Injured In Ride-On Mower Incident At Tamborine
Patient struck by fence paling
A woman has been injured while mowing the lawn at Tamborine this morning.
She was believed to have been on a ride-on mower at a property on Beaudesert Beenleigh Rd, when she drove over a fence and was struck by a paling around 9:30am on Thursday.
Paramedics attended the scene and treated the woman in her 40s for arm and possible chest injuries.
The Rescue Helicopter was called in to transport her to hospital, but had to be diverted.
She was instead taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital via ambulance, with a Critical Care Paramedic on board.
She was in a stable condition.
