Let’s face it, sometimes the odds just aren’t in our favour.

This was the story for a woman who decided to take a selfie while at a museum, because things suddenly went from worse to catastrophic at the snap of a finger…

A woman visiting Hong Kong-based artist Simon Birch’s exhibit at the 14th Factory in Los Angeles had leaned against one of the pedestals of a sculpture to take a selfie… and like dominos, everything went falling down…

The woman responsible knocked over artwork that was a collaboration between Simon and other artists like Gabriel Chan, Gloria Yu and Jacob Blitzer

Yu told Hypoallergenic, "Three sculptures were permanently damaged and others to varying degrees.

“The approximate cost of damage is $200,000.”

Selfies are dangerous, folks…

Be careful out there.
