A woman handed has handed herself in on Tuesday night for an alleged hit and run that killed a Queensland police officer in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Brisbane woman, Skye Anne Wallis was arrested on Tuesday night after she surrendered herself to Caboolture police after a three-day search.

This comes after the 24-year-old passenger of the car came forward on Sunday night and was charged with murder.

Senior Constable David Masters was deploying road spikes to try and stop the driver of a stolen Hyundai Kona, when the driver of the car struck and killed him.

The 33-year-old has been charged with murder, arson and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Wallis was represented by a lawyer at the Caboolture Magistrates Court and is set to appear in court on August 12.

Police are investigating whether there is a link between the two women and to a shooting that occurred on Saturday at one of the addresses that was attended to by police during their three-day search.
