Earlier this month,  SA Police launched an investigation after a man grabbed a female jogger near Oaklands Recreation Plaza at about 5.40am on Thursday 16 May.

After the attack was publicised, listener Jeannie called into Bec & Cosi and shared a very similar story near that exact same spot, and has since helped police with their ongoing investigation.

This morning, the first woman who reported the assault joined us on air to explain exactly what happened and share how the incident has impacted her life since.

On Thursday June 6th we are hosting a free event for the public. It is a 3 kilometre run to support women,  meeting at the Elder Park Rotunda at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
