Wesfarmers CEO Richard Goyder will be interviewed at a live public event held at Albany Entertainment Centre’s Kalyenup Studio this month.
Richard Goyder is a prominent Western Australian businessman with a highly successful career in the corporate and commercial sector, including 24 years with Wesfarmers. Richard serves in a number of directorships, including Chairman of the AFL commission. He hails from the Great Southern having grown up in Tambellup.
Albany Mayor Dennis Wellington said the event was a great opportunity for the community to hear from a high achieving Western Australian.
“We are very excited to be hosting Richard in Albany, he has significant experience and has achieved some truly remarkable things in his time with Wesfarmers, I think people will really enjoy hearing his story,” Mayor Wellington said.

This event is part of the Great Southern Speaker Series, a consortium comprising of the City of Albany, South Coast Natural Resource Management Inc., Great Southern Development Commission and UWA Albany.
