Dan and Ben are back and this time, their sporting a new name and a couple of talented new hosts!

Hit90.9 has just welcomed Lise Carlaw and Sarah Wills to the team and we couldn't be more excited!

The two radio heavy weights, affectionately known as 'Those Two Girls', are beyond thrilled to join the team and were willing to sit down and answer a few ice breaker questions for us.

To help listeners get to know them a little better, we have a list of random questions which the girls answered openly and honestly... we think. So without further ado, here are some fun facts about our two new favourite brekkie girls...

Tell us a bit about yourself...

Sarah: "I never know what to say here. Ever. So...hi, I’m Sarah. I’m married with two girls. I  sometimes leave wet clothes in the washing machine for too long and have to do a second cycle. I dislike awkward ‘tell us about yourself’ questions"

Lise: "I love spreadsheets, Jack Black, dirt bikes, movies featuring oversized animals (think Anaconda, Rogue, The Meg), telling everyone I’m French, and eating every 23 minutes. I’m a mum of two boys and I’ll take cheese and quince paste over flowers and chocolates any day of the week."

What do you like to do on the weekend?

Sarah: "Sit on the balcony in my PJs drinking cups of tea while reading the papers. (I’m actually a 75-year-old trapped in a 38-year-old’s body.)"

Lise: "Club AFL games with my boys followed by BBQ chook and coleslaw sandwiches on the verandah sounds pretty ace to me. We love having impromptu guests over for try-hard grazing platters and crisp white wine."

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Sarah: "Journalist or theatre actor. Studied both; did neither."

Lise: "When I was five I had a burning desire to work in a McDonald’s drive-through. In my 20s, I loved the idea of being a TV screen-writer, working in film production or being a presenter on a kids’ show."

What's your coffee order?

Sarah: "Skim cap with one sugar."

Lise: "Skim cap on Zymil."

What was your most embarrassing moment?

Sarah: "When I stood on the hem of my own dress stepping out onto a busy pedestrian crossing, stacked it and hit my head on the kerb. I was fine, but the actual embarrassing part was doing overzealous waves and that weird cry-laugh-cry to all the stopped traffic. Those flashbacks keep me awake at night."

What's your cocktail of choice?

Sarah: "I’m not a big (or fancy) drinker; a white wine will do me fine."

Lise: "I’m not a fan of sugary drinks so give me a cold glass of Savvy B or Ink gin & soda, please and thank you."

Which songs make you want to hit the dance floor?

Sarah: "Man, I feel like a woman. (When Shania says, ‘Let’s go, girls’...better get outta my way.)"

Lise: Pour some sugar on me – Def Leppard

What's your favourite movie?

Sarah: "Gone with the Wind."

Lise: "The Sound of Music"

What's your favourite holiday destination?

Sarah: "Japan. I’ve been twice and would love for my family to go together in the next couple of years. It will be a nice change of scenery from character-building regional road trips that require bulk-buys of travel sickness pills."

Lise: "We camp. A lot. My husband pretty much wrote it into our marriage vows. Fingal is a favourite of ours. Give us surf, sun, sand and a folding chair and we’re there."

Do you have any weird obsessions or habits?

Sarah: "I unapologetically enjoy wandering through old cemeteries."

Lise: "I cant handle wire coat hangers. I’m terrified they’ll gouge my eyes (or bellybutton) out. I also secretly love folding my laundry like Marie Kondo."

What REALLY grinds your gears?

Sarah: "Drivers who don’t have their ticket ready to swipe at a car park exit. WE ARE ALL WAITING WHILE YOU FUMBLE AROUND, DEIRDRE."

Lise: "Bad manners, big egos and slow walkers at pedestrian crossings."

What's your biggest fear?

Sarah: "Sunburn."

Lise: "Suffocating/being buried alive"

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Sarah: "Fresh white bread with lashings of butter and shaved ham. Never disappoints."

Lise: "A cheese platter with all the trimmings."

Lise, Sarah, Dan and Ben kicked off the new show by interviewing the 2019 Bachelor, 31 year-old Astrophysicist, Matt Agnew. Tune into the catch-up below for the full interview...
