WA Police Searching For Swimmer's Body

Police divers are working to recover the body of a 22-year-old man believed to have drowned in a lake in southwest Western Australia.

Police say the Perth resident was swimming at Stockton Lake in Collie with friends late Monday afternoon when he failed to return to the surface.

The artificial lake, which was formerly an open-cut mine, has been closed to the public but the adjacent campsite remains open.
