A 23-year-old woman has allegedly been indecently assaulted by an Uber driver in Sydney's south west.
The woman has lodged a complaint with police following a trip from her house in Ambarvale to another residence in Camden.
The ride took place at roughly 5.15am on Sunday, and it is alleged that the woman tried to flee after arriving at her destination, but the driver, 52, "grabbed her arm and attempted to stop her".
The woman managed to escape and call police, with the man arrested just after midday yesterday.
He has been charged with two counts of indecent assault at Narellan Police Station, and Uber has stated that the man has been banned from the app.
He has been granted bail and will appear in Picton Local Court on September 25.
