Two Arrested After High Speed Police Chase
Police say the ute was stolen..

An innocent bystander was clipped by the ute on Maitland Road at Mayfield.
Thankfully the woman only suffered minor injuries.
She was helping authorities clean-up debris from the vehicle's burst tyres at the time.
The male driver from North Lambton has since been refused bail.
The 21 year old will face 11 offences at Newcastle Court tomorrow.
His 23 year old female passenger from Mayfield has been released on conditional bail.
Two people have been arrested following a high speed police pursuit through several Newcastle suburbs this morning.
Officers gave chase after spotting a stolen Volkswagen Amarok in Hamilton just before 9am.
The pursuit lasted nearly 20 minutes before the ute crashed into a gutter in Platt Street, Waratah.
The male driver and his female passenger were forcibly removed from the vehicle.
They're both currently being questioned at Waratah Police Station.
