Property owners along Marine Parade at Miami have been accused of destroying and removing trees in the nature strip that obstruct their ocean views.
Some families sent letters of complaints saying their amenities are being impacted.
However, Division Councillor Pauline Young said, “the views owned by everyone in the community, and those views is to be appreciated in the community”.

25 trees have now been replanted to help provide shade for the families in those community. Visitors have also been urged to report vandalism.
